Last week, we wrote about the GOP push in some of the states that President Obama won to award electoral votes by congressional district in future presidential elections. The action would give Republicans a better chance of winning those elections. Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert weighed in on Tuesday’s “Colbert Report”:

“It’s a win-win,” Colbert said in his regular segment, “The Word.”

“Except for the guy who won,” said the text on screen as Colbert spoke.
